'Raised' in the Bible
He came and raised her up by gently taking her hand. Then the fever left her and she began to serve them.
Now King Herod heard this, for Jesus' name had become known. Some were saying, "John the baptizer has been raised from the dead, and because of this, miraculous powers are at work in him."
But when Herod heard this, he said, "John, whom I beheaded, has been raised!"
But Jesus gently took his hand and raised him to his feet, and he stood up.
Now as for the dead being raised, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the passage about the bush, how God said to him, 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'?
But after I am raised, I will go ahead of you into Galilee."
But he said to them, "Do not be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has been raised! He is not here. Look, there is the place where they laid him.
