'Roars' in the Bible
“After it, a voice roars; He thunders with His majestic voice,And He does not restrain the lightnings when His voice is heard.
Its roaring is like a lioness, and it roars like young lions; It growls as it seizes the preyAnd carries it off with no one to deliver it.
“They seize bow and spear; They are cruel and have no mercy;Their voice roars like the sea,And they ride on horses,Arrayed as a man for the battleAgainst you, O daughter of Zion!”
“They seize their bow and javelin; They are cruel and have no mercy.Their voice roars like the sea;And they ride on horses,Marshalled like a man for the battleAgainst you, O daughter of Babylon.
The Lord roars from ZionAnd utters His voice from Jerusalem,And the heavens and the earth tremble. But the Lord is a refuge for His peopleAnd a stronghold to the sons of Israel.
He said,“The Lord roars from ZionAnd from Jerusalem He utters His voice; And the shepherds’ pasture grounds mourn,And the summit of Carmel dries up.”
and he cried out with a loud voice, as when a lion roars; and when he had cried out, the seven peals of thunder uttered their voices.
