'Shines' in the Bible

to [the] land of darkness, like [the] darkness of a deep shadow and {chaos}, so that it shines forth like darkness.'"

From Zion, [the] perfection of beauty, God shines forth.

May his name endure forever. May his name increase {as long as the sun shines}, and let them be blessed in him. Let all nations call him blessed.

even [the] darkness is not too dark for you, and [the] night shines as the day-- the darkness [and] the light are alike [for you].

The shields of his warriors [are] dyed red; The powerful men [are] dressed in scarlet. The metal of the chariots [shines] like fire {on the day of battle}, and [their] spears quiver.
