'Shout' in the Bible
But let that man be like the citiesWhich the Lord overthrew without relenting,And let him hear an outcry in the morningAnd a shout of alarm at noon;
“Therefore you shall prophesy against them all these words, and you shall say to them,‘The Lord will roar from on highAnd utter His voice from His holy habitation;He will roar mightily against His fold.He will shout like those who tread the grapes,Against all the inhabitants of the earth.
For thus says the Lord,“Sing aloud with gladness for Jacob,And shout among the chief of the nations;Proclaim, give praise and say,‘O Lord, save Your people,The remnant of Israel.’
“They will come and shout for joy on the height of Zion,And they will be radiant over the bounty of the Lord—Over the grain and the new wine and the oil,And over the young of the flock and the herd;And their life will be like a watered garden,And they will never languish again.
At the shout, “Babylon has been seized!” the earth is shaken, and an outcry is heard among the nations.
“Then heaven and earth and all that is in themWill shout for joy over Babylon,For the destroyers will come to her from the north,”Declares the Lord.
