'Skirts' in the Bible

“Also on your skirts is foundThe lifeblood of the innocent poor;You did not find them breaking in.But in spite of all these things,

“If you say in your heart,‘Why have these things happened to me?’Because of the magnitude of your iniquityYour skirts have been removedAnd your heels have been exposed.

“So I Myself have also stripped your skirts off over your face,That your shame may be seen.

Her uncleanness was in her skirts;She did not consider her future.Therefore she has fallen astonishingly;She has no comforter.“See, O Lord, my affliction,For the enemy has magnified himself!”

“Behold, I am against you,” declares the Lord of hosts;“And I will lift up your skirts over your face,And show to the nations your nakednessAnd to the kingdoms your disgrace.
