'Slander' in the Bible
You must not go about spreading slander among your people; you must not jeopardize your neighbor’s life; I am Yahweh.
You will be safe from slanderand not fear destruction when it comes.
who does not slander with his tongue,who does not harm his friendor discredit his neighbor,
The one who conceals hatred has lying lips,and whoever spreads slander is a fool.
