'Sons' in the Bible

Yet the number of the Israeliteswill be like the sand of the sea,which cannot be measured or counted.And in the place where they were told:You are not My people,they will be called: Sons of the living God.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.Because you have rejected knowledge,I will reject you from serving as My priest.Since you have forgotten the law of your God,I will also forget your sons.
