'Spread' in the Bible

But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and spread; and they were distressed because of the children of Israel.

And Moses said to him, When I go out of the city, I will spread out my hands to Jehovah: the thunder will cease, and there will be no more hail; that thou mayest know that the earth is Jehovah's.

And Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread out his hands to Jehovah; and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not any more poured on the earth.

And the cherubim spread out their wings over it, covering over with their wings the mercy-seat; and their faces were opposite to one another: the faces of the cherubim were turned toward the mercy-seat.

And he spread the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above over it; as Jehovah had commanded Moses.
