'Squares' in the Bible

She is now in the streets, now in the squares,And lurks by every corner.

‘I must arise now and go about the city;In the streets and in the squaresI must seek him whom my soul loves.’I sought him but did not find him.

In their streets they have girded themselves with sackcloth;On their housetops and in their squaresEveryone is wailing, dissolved in tears.
