'Stones' in the Bible

armed with bows, using both the right hand and the left with stones and with arrows on the bow; they were of Saul's brethren of Benjamin:

And David took the crown of their king from off his head, and found it to weigh a talent of gold, and there were precious stones in it; and it was set upon David's head: and he brought forth the spoil of the city in great abundance.

And David commanded to collect the strangers that were in the land of Israel; and he set masons to hew wrought stones to build the house of God.

And I have prepared according to all my power for the house of my God gold for things of gold, and silver for things of silver, and brass for things of brass, iron for things of iron, and wood for things of wood; onyx stones, and stones to be set, glistering stones, and of divers colours, and all manner of precious stones, and white marble in abundance.

And they with whom stones were found gave them to the treasure of the house of Jehovah, into the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.
