'Stood' in the Bible
Again, on the morrow, there stood John and two of his disciples.
On the morrow the crowd which stood on the other side of the sea, having seen that there was no other little ship there except that into which his disciples had got, and that Jesus had not gone with his disciples into the ship, but that his disciples had gone away alone;
In the last, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried saying, If any one thirst, let him come to me and drink.
Ye are of the devil, as your father, and ye desire to do the lusts of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks falsehood, he speaks of what is his own; for he is a liar and its father:

But Mary stood at the tomb weeping without. As therefore she wept, she stooped down into the tomb,
When therefore it was evening on that day, which was the first day of the week, and the doors shut where the disciples were, through fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and says to them, Peace be to you.
And eight days after, his disciples were again within, and Thomas with them. Jesus comes, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst and said, Peace be to you.
And early morn already breaking, Jesus stood on the shore; the disciples however did not know that it was Jesus.
