'Stretch' in the Bible

“Their houses shall be turned over to others,Their fields and their wives together;For I will stretch out My handAgainst the inhabitants of the land,” declares the Lord.

My tent is destroyed,And all my ropes are broken;My sons have gone from me and are no more.There is no one to stretch out my tent againOr to set up my curtains.

“You who have forsaken Me,” declares the Lord,“You keep going backward.So I will stretch out My hand against you and destroy you;I am tired of relenting!

“Behold, I am against you, O destroying mountain,Who destroys the whole earth,” declares the Lord,“And I will stretch out My hand against you,And roll you down from the crags,And I will make you a burnt out mountain.
