'Swear' in the Bible

"If a man sins against his neighbor and {makes him swear an oath} and comes [with] an oath before your altar in this house,

But the king said to him, "How many times shall I make you swear that you speak nothing except the truth in the name of Yahweh?"

And he also rebelled against King Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God. He stiffened his neck and hardened his heart against turning to Yahweh, the God of Israel.
