'Tempest' in the Bible
“For He bruises me with a tempestAnd multiplies my wounds without cause.
“Terrors overtake him like a flood;A tempest steals him away in the night.
“As through a wide breach they come,Amid the tempest they roll on.
“I would hasten to my place of refugeFrom the stormy wind and tempest.”
So pursue them with Your tempestAnd terrify them with Your storm.
Behold, the Lord has a strong and mighty agent;As a storm of hail, a tempest of destruction,Like a storm of mighty overflowing waters,He has cast it down to the earth with His hand.
From the Lord of hosts you will be punished with thunder and earthquake and loud noise,With whirlwind and tempest and the flame of a consuming fire.
“Behold, the storm of the Lord has gone forth in wrath,Even a whirling tempest;It will swirl down on the head of the wicked.
Behold, the tempest of the Lord!Wrath has gone forth,A sweeping tempest;It will burst on the head of the wicked.
