'Upon' in the Bible

The satraps, the prefects, the governors and the king’s high officials gathered around and saw in regard to these men that the fire had no effect on the bodies of these men nor was the hair of their head singed, nor were their trousers damaged, nor had the smell of fire even come upon them.

this is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the Most High, which has come upon my lord the king:

“A river of fire was flowingAnd coming out from before Him;Thousands upon thousands were attending Him,And myriads upon myriads were standing before Him;The court sat,And the books were opened.

And behold, one who resembled a human being was touching my lips; then I opened my mouth and spoke and said to him who was standing before me, “O my lord, as a result of the vision anguish has come upon me, and I have retained no strength.
