'Vessels' in the Bible
Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels at large for yourself from all your neighbors, even empty vessels; do not get a few.
And you shall go in and shut the door behind you and your sons, and pour out into all these vessels, and you shall set aside what is full.”
So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons; they were bringing the vessels to her and she poured.
When the vessels were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “There is not one vessel more.” And the oil stopped.
But there were not made for the house of the Lord silver cups, snuffers, bowls, trumpets, any vessels of gold, or vessels of silver from the money which was brought into the house of the Lord;
Then the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest and the priests of the second order and the doorkeepers, to bring out of the temple of the Lord all the vessels that were made for Baal, for Asherah, and for all the host of heaven; and he burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron, and carried their ashes to Bethel.
He carried out from there all the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the king’s house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the Lord, just as the Lord had said.
They took away the pots, the shovels, the snuffers, the spoons, and all the bronze vessels which were used in temple service.
The two pillars, the one sea, and the stands which Solomon had made for the house of the Lord—the bronze of all these vessels was beyond weight.
