'Victory' in the Bible

But Moses replied:It’s not the sound of a victory cryand not the sound of a cry of defeat;I hear the sound of singing!

For the Lord your God is the One who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.’

He became very thirsty and called out to the Lord: “You have accomplished this great victory through Your servant. Must I now die of thirst and fall into the hands of the uncircumcised?”

He took his life in his hands when he struck down the Philistine, and the Lord brought about a great victory for all Israel. You saw it and rejoiced, so why would you sin against innocent blood by killing David for no reason?”

That day’s victory was turned into mourning for all the troops because on that day the troops heard, “The king is grieving over his son.”

but Eleazar stood his ground and attacked the Philistines until his hand was tired and stuck to his sword. The Lord brought about a great victory that day. Then the troops came back to him, but only to plunder the dead.

but Shammah took his stand in the middle of the field, defended it, and struck down the Philistines. So the Lord brought about a great victory.

Naaman, commander of the army for the king of Aram, was a great man in his master’s sight and highly regarded because through him, the Lord had given victory to Aram. The man was a brave warrior, but he had a skin disease.

Elisha said, “Open the east window.” So he opened it. Elisha said, “Shoot!” So he shot. Then Elisha said, “The Lord’s arrow of victory, yes, the arrow of victory over Aram. You are to strike down the Arameans in Aphek until you have put an end to them.”

But Eleazar and David took their stand in the middle of the field and defended it. They killed the Philistines, and the Lord gave them a great victory.

Let us shout for joy at your victoryand lift the banner in the name of our God.May Yahweh fulfill all your requests.

Now I know that the Lord gives victory to His anointed;He will answer him from His holy heavenwith mighty victories from His right hand.

Lord, give victory to the king!May He answer us on the day that we call.

A horse is prepared for the day of battle,but victory comes from the Lord. >

for you should wage war with sound guidance—victory comes with many counselors.

I looked, but there was no one to help,and I was amazed that no one assisted;so My arm accomplished victory for Me,and My wrath assisted Me.

The Lord of Hosts has sworn by Himself:I will fill you up with men as with locusts,and they will sing the victory song over you.
