'Wise' in the Bible

The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul;The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit;He has ceased to be wise and to do good.

For he sees that even wise men die;The stupid and the senseless alike perishAnd leave their wealth to others.

Who is wise? Let him give heed to these things,And consider the lovingkindnesses of the Lord.
