'Word' in the Bible

You, too, have heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed in the Messiah, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,

so that he might make it holy by cleansing it, washing it with water and the word,

also take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
