'Worm' in the Bible

and say to corruption: You are my father,and to the maggot: My mother or my sister,

how much less man, who is a maggot,and the son of man, who is a worm!

But I am a worm and not a man,scorned by men and despised by people.

Do not fear, you worm Jacob,you men of Israel:I will help you—this is the Lord’s declaration.Your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.

For the moth will devour them like a garment,and the worm will eat them like wool.But My righteousness will last forever,and My salvation for all generations.

When dawn came the next day, God appointed a worm that attacked the plant, and it withered.
