'Snuffed' in the Bible
“My spirit is broken, my days are extinguished,The grave is ready for me.
If I've consumed its produce without paying for it and snuffed out the life of its owners;
The light of the righteous shines brightly, but the lamp of the wicked is snuffed out.
for there will be no reward to the evil man; and the lamp of the wicked shall be snuffed out.
who brings out chariots and horsemen, and armies and warriors at the same time. They lay there, never to rise again, extinguished, snuffed out like a candle:
And the wild asses did stand in the high places, they snuffed up the wind like dragons; their eyes did fail, because there was no grass.
