1 Corinthians 1:14

I thank God I baptized none of you, except Crispus and Gaius;

And Crispus the synagogue ruler believed in the Lord, with all his house; and many of the Corinthians who heard believed and were baptized.

Gaius my entertainer, and the entertainer of all the church, salutes you. Erastus the treasurer of the city and Quartus the brother salute you.

I thank my God always for you, for the grace of God given you in Christ Jesus,

I thank God I speak with a tongue more than you all;

But thanks be to God, who always triumphs over us in Christ and reveals the odor of his knowledge by us in every place;

giving thanks always for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to the God and Father,

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, for which you have been called in one body; and be thankful.

and whatever you do in word or in work, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to the God [and] Father through him.

give thanks on every occasion; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus to us.

And I thank our Lord Jesus Christ who has empowered me [to preach,] that he accounted me faithful, putting me in the ministry,

THE elder to the beloved Gaius, whom I love in truth.
