But he said to him, “My lord knows that the children are frail and that the flocks and herds which are nursing are a care to me. And if they are driven hard one day, all the flocks will die.

Like a shepherd He will tend His flock,
In His arm He will gather the lambs
And carry them in His bosom;
He will gently lead the nursing ewes.

I will feed them in a good pasture, and their grazing ground will be on the mountain heights of Israel. There they will lie down on good grazing ground and feed in

rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

So when they had finished breakfast, Jesus *said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you

love Me more than these?”

He *said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He *said to him, “Tend My lambs.”

I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling,

To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak; I have become all things to all men, so that I may by all means save some.

Now I, Paul, myself urge you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ—I who am meek when face to face with you, but bold toward you when absent!

For indeed He was crucified because of weakness, yet He lives because of the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, yet we will live with Him because of the power of God directed toward you.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

The Lord’s bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged,

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy.
