First of all, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, because the report of your faith is over all the world.

I always thank my God for the grace of God that has been bestowed on you in Christ Jesus;

Hence, as I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,

I thank my God for all your remembrance of me;

Never be anxious, but always make your requests known to God in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving;

We always thank God for you all when we mention you constantly in our prayers,

Praying

Hence, from the day we heard of it, we have never ceased to pray for you, asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and insight,

For this reason, then, I kneel before the Father

And it is my prayer that your love may be more and more rich in knowledge and all manner of insight, enabling you to have a sense of what is vital,

Night and day I pray specially that I may see your faces and supply what is defective in your faith.

And may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father who has loved us and given us eternal encouragement and good hope,

I render thanks to God, the God of my fathers whom I worship with a pure conscience, as I mention you constantly in my prayers.
