So in my anger I declared an oath: "They are not to enter my place of rest."

"Moreover, I solemnly swore to them in the wilderness that I wouldn't bring them to the land that I had given them a land flowing with milk and honey, the most beautiful of all lands

do not harden your hearts as they did when they provoked me during the time of testing in the wilderness.

Now I want to remind you, even though you are fully aware of these things, that the Lord who once saved his people from the land of Egypt later destroyed those who did not believe.
