Exodus 2:24

God Hears Israel's Groaning

²³ {And then} during those many days, the king of Egypt died, and the {Israelites} groaned because of the work, and they cried out, and their cry for help because of the work went up to God. ²⁴ And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob, ²⁵ and God saw the {Israelites}, and God took notice.
