Wearing a linen ephod, David danced in Jehovah's presence with all his might.

Then David commanded the people: Praise Jehovah your God! The entire assembly praised Jehovah, the God of their ancestors. They bowed low and gave honor to Jehovah and also to the king.

But I have built you a high Temple. It is a home for you to live in permanently.

Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices to Jehovah.

All the men of Judah and Jerusalem returned to Jerusalem. They rejoiced while Jehoshaphat led them. Jehovah gave them a reason to rejoice about what had happened to their enemies.

Everyone there joined in worship. The singing and the rest of the music continued until all the sacrifices were burned.

The king, everyone in Judah, everyone living in Jerusalem, the priests, the Levites, and all the people, young and old, went up to Jehovah's Temple. He read everything written in the Book of the Covenant found in Jehovah's Temple so that they could hear it.

They read from the book the Law of God making it clear (translating it), so that their minds were able to take it in.

I remember these things and I pour out my heart within me. I used to go along with the crowd and lead them in procession to the house of God, with the voice of joy and thanksgiving, a multitude keeping festival.

([Psalm of David]) I was glad when they said to me: Let us go to the house of Jehovah.

Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in their midst.

Teach them to observe all the things I have commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

Christ was faithful as a Son over God's house. We are His house if we hold on to our courage (confidence) and rejoice (speak boldly) about our hope until the end.

We have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, so let us hold fast our confession.
