For both He Who sanctifieth and those who are sanctified are all of One; for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brethren,

Wherefore, Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people through His own blood, suffered without the gate.

and in their behalf I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth.

but one of the soldiers with a spear pierced His side, and straightway there came out blood and water.

But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus, Who was made to us wisdom from God, also righteousness, and holiness, and redemption;

And such were some of you; but ye were washed, but ye were sanctified, but ye were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

This is He Who came through water and blood, Jesus Christ; not in the water only, but in the water and in the blood.

The offering

Wherefore, coming into the world, He saith, "Sacrifice and offering Thou didst not wish, but a body didst Thou prepare for Me;

nor yet through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, entered, once for all, into the Holies, having obtained eternal redemption.
