Isaiah 49:14

But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.

"Jacob, why do you say and Israel, why do you complain "My predicament is hidden from the LORD, and my cause is ignored by my God.'?

My God! My God! Why have you abandoned me? Why are you so far from delivering me from my groaning words?

When I said in my panic, "I have been cut off in your sight," then you surely heard the voice of my prayer in my plea to you for help.

During the night I remembered my song. I meditate in my heart, and my spirit ponders.

But you have spurned, rejected, and became angry with your anointed one.

So I ask, "God has not rejected his people, has he?" Of course not! I am an Israeli myself, a descendant of Abraham from the tribe of Benjamin.

How long? LORD, will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?

Therefore I'll surely forget you and cast you and the city I gave you and your ancestors out of my presence.

So why have you completely forgotten us, forsaking us for so long?

He helped his servant Israel, remembering to be merciful,
