Isaiah's Commission

⁷ He touched my mouth with it and said: See! This has touched your lips, your guilt is taken away and your sin forgiven (pardoned) (atoned for). ⁸ Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” ⁹ He said: Go and tell this people: 'Hear constantly but do not understand. See constantly but do not perceive.'
