False Gods Contrasted With The Creator

Silver that has been beaten [into plates] is brought from Tarshish,
And gold from Uphaz,
The work of the craftsman and of the hand of the goldsmith;
Violet and purple are their clothing;
They are all the work of skilled men.
¹⁰ 
But the Lord is the true God and the God who is Truth;
He is the living God and the everlasting King.
The earth quakes and shudders at His wrath,
And the nations are not able to endure His indignation. ¹¹ In this manner you shall say to them, “The gods that did not make the heavens and the earth will perish from the earth and from under the heavens.”
