The Prologue To John's Gospel

¹⁷ for the law was given by Moses, the grace and truth were by Jesus Christ. ¹⁸ No one has ever seen God; the only Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he declared [him]. ¹⁹ AND this is the testimony of John, when the Jews from Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask him, Who are you?

Matthew 11:27
