¹⁴ And Pilate said to them, "Why, what evil did He do?" But they cried out vehemently, "Crucify Him!" ¹⁵ And Pilate, wishing to satisfy the multitude, released to them Barabbas, and delivered up Jesus, after having scourged Him, to be crucified. ¹⁶ And the soldiers led Him away within the court, which is the Praetorium; and they call together the whole band.
