Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

And when he came to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them.

When they reached the crowd, a man approached and knelt down before Him.

The next day, when they came down from the mountain, a large crowd met Him.

But some of the scribes were sitting there, thinking to themselves:

and asked Him, “By what authority are You doing these things? Who gave You this authority to do these things?”

When they came, they said to Him, “Teacher, we know You are truthful and defer to no one, for You don’t show partiality

but teach truthfully the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar or not?

When He left there, the scribes and the Pharisees began to oppose Him fiercely and to cross-examine Him about many things;

For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, so that you won’t grow weary and lose heart.
