Praise To Yahweh For His Faithfulness In Israel's History

⁴⁰ Therefore was the wrath of Jehovah kindled against his people, And he abhorred his inheritance. ⁴¹ And he gave them into the hand of the nations; And they that hated them ruled over them. ⁴² Their enemies also oppressed them, And they were brought into subjection under their hand.

Judges 2:14

And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of spoilers that despoiled them; and he sold them into the hands of their enemies round about, so that they could not any longer stand before their enemies.

Deuteronomy 28:25

Jehovah will cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies; thou shalt go out one way against them, and shalt flee seven ways before them: and thou shalt be tossed to and from among all the kingdoms of the earth.
