Be patient, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient over it, until it receive the early and late rains.

I will call on him as long as I live because he turns his ear toward me (listens to me).

Jehovah, do hear my voice! Let your ears listen to the voice of my supplications.

O my God, incline your ear, and hear! Open your eyes, and behold our desolations and the city that is called by your name. We do not present our supplications before you because of our righteous merits, but according to your many mercies.
