1 Chanting to David in his being in the desert of Judah. O God thou art my God; I will seek thee: my soul thirsted for thee, my flesh longed for thee in a land of dryness, and thirsty without water.
1 A Psalm of David, (a)when he was in the wilderness of Judah.O God, (A)You are my God; I shall seek You (b)earnestly;My soul (B)thirsts for You, my flesh (c)yearns for You,In a (C)dry and weary land where there is no water.
1 {A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah.} O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
1 A Davidic psalm. When he was in the Wilderness of Judah.(A)God, You are my God; I eagerly seek You.I thirst for You;my body faints for Youin a land that is dry, desolate, and without water.(B)
1 God, you are my God! I will fervently seek you. My soul thirsts for you; my flesh longs for you in a dry, weary, and parched land.
5 As milk and fatness my soul shall be satisfied; and with rejoicing lips shall my mouth praise.
5 My soul is (H)satisfied as with (d)marrow and fatness,And my mouth offers (I)praises with joyful lips.
5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:
5 Just as I am satisfied with the choicest of foods, so my lips will praise you joyfully.
10 They shall deliver to the hands of the sword; they shall be a portion of foxes.
10 (h)They will be (i)(R)delivered over to the power of the sword;They will be a (j)(S)prey for foxes.
10 They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.
10 May they be given over to the power of the sword; may they become carrion for jackals.
11 And the king shall rejoice in God; all swearing in him shall glory: for the mouth of those speaking falsehood shall be stopped.
11 But the (T)king will rejoice in God;Everyone who (U)swears by Him will glory,For the (V)mouths of those who speak lies will be stopped.
11 But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
11 But the king will rejoice in God;(N)all who swear by Him(b) will boast,for the mouths of liars will be shut.(O)
11 But as for the king, he will rejoice in God. Indeed, everyone who swears by God will exult, because the mouths of liars will be silenced. To the Director: A Davidic Psalm.
