וַתְּדַבֵּ֨ר
wat·tə·ḏab·bêr
And spoke
מִרְיָ֤ם
mir·yām
וְאַהֲרֹן֙
wə·’a·hă·rōn
and Aaron
､ בְּמֹשֶׁ֔ה
bə·mō·šeh,
עַל־
‘al-
אֹד֛וֹת
’ō·ḏō·wṯ
הָאִשָּׁ֥ה
hā·’iš·šāh
of the woman
הַכֻּשִׁ֖ית
hak·ku·šîṯ
אֲשֶׁ֣ר
’ă·šer
– לָקָ֑ח
lā·qāḥ;
he had married –
כִּֽי־
kî-
אִשָּׁ֥ה
’iš·šāh
כֻשִׁ֖ית
ḵu·šîṯ
. לָקָֽח׃
lā·qāḥ.

､ וַיֹּאמְר֗וּ
way·yō·mə·rū,
So they said ､
הֲרַ֤ק
hă·raq
אַךְ־
’aḵ-
בְּמֹשֶׁה֙
bə·mō·šeh
דִּבֶּ֣ר
dib·ber
؟ יְהוָ֔ה
Yah·weh,
הֲלֹ֖א
hă·lō
not
גַּם־
gam-
בָּ֣נוּ
bā·nū
؟ דִבֵּ֑ר
ḏib·bêr;
Has He spoken ؟
וַיִּשְׁמַ֖ע
way·yiš·ma‘
and heard [it]
. יְהוָֽה׃
Yah·weh.

וְהָאִ֥ישׁ
wə·hā·’îš
And the man
מֹשֶׁ֖ה
mō·šeh
[ענו]
‘ā·nāw
-
(עָנָ֣יו)
‘ā·nāw
､ מְאֹ֑ד
mə·’ōḏ;
very ､
מִכֹּל֙
mik·kōl
הָֽאָדָ֔ם
hā·’ā·ḏām,
אֲשֶׁ֖ר
’ă·šer
עַל־
‘al-
on
פְּנֵ֥י
pə·nê
the face
. הָאֲדָמָֽה׃
hā·’ă·ḏā·māh.
of the earth .

And said
יְהוָ֜ה
Yah·weh
פִּתְאֹ֗ם
piṯ·’ōm,
אֶל־
’el-
to
､ מֹשֶׁ֤ה
mō·šeh
Moses ､
וְאֶֽל־
wə·’el-
and
､ אַהֲרֹן֙
’a·hă·rōn
Aaron ､
וְאֶל־
wə·’el-
and
､ מִרְיָ֔ם
mir·yām,
Miriam ､
צְא֥וּ
ṣə·’ū
שְׁלָשְׁתְּכֶ֖ם
šə·lā·šə·tə·ḵem
אֶל־
’el-
to
אֹ֣הֶל
’ō·hel
. מוֹעֵ֑ד
mō·w·‘êḏ;
of meeting .
וַיֵּצְא֖וּ
way·yê·ṣə·’ū
. שְׁלָשְׁתָּֽם׃
šə·lā·šə·tām.
the three .

וַיֵּ֤רֶד
way·yê·reḏ
יְהוָה֙
Yah·weh
בְּעַמּ֣וּד
bə·‘am·mūḏ
in the pillar
､ עָנָ֔ן
‘ā·nān,
of cloud ､
וַֽיַּעֲמֹ֖ד
way·ya·‘ă·mōḏ
and stood [in]
פֶּ֣תַח
pe·ṯaḥ
the door
､ הָאֹ֑הֶל
hā·’ō·hel;
of the tabernacle ､
וַיִּקְרָא֙
way·yiq·rā
and called
אַהֲרֹ֣ן
’a·hă·rōn
､ וּמִרְיָ֔ם
ū·mir·yām,
and Miriam ､
וַיֵּצְא֖וּ
way·yê·ṣə·’ū
. שְׁנֵיהֶֽם׃
šə·nê·hem.
the two of them .

､ וַיֹּ֖אמֶר
way·yō·mer
And He said ､
שִׁמְעוּ־
šim·‘ū-
נָ֣א
nā
– דְבָרָ֑י
ḏə·ḇā·rāy;
My words –
אִם־
’im-
if
יִֽהְיֶה֙
yih·yeh
､ נְבִ֣יאֲכֶ֔ם
nə·ḇî·’ă·ḵem,
יְהוָ֗ה
Yah·weh
[I] Yahweh
､ בַּמַּרְאָה֙
bam·mar·’āh
in a vision ､
אֵלָ֣יו
’ê·lāw
to him
– אֶתְוַדָּ֔ע
’eṯ·wad·dā‘,
בַּחֲל֖וֹם
ba·ḥă·lō·wm
in a dream
אֲדַבֶּר־
’ă·ḏab·ber-
. בּֽוֹ׃
bōw.
to him .

. הֽוּא׃
hū.
He [is] .

to
､ פֶּ֞ה

face ､
אֲדַבֶּר־
’ă·ḏab·ber-
בּ֗וֹ
bōw,
with him
וּמַרְאֶה֙
ū·mar·’eh
וְלֹ֣א
wə·lō
and not
– בְחִידֹ֔ת
ḇə·ḥî·ḏōṯ,
in dark sayings –
וּתְמֻנַ֥ת
ū·ṯə·mu·naṯ
and the form
יְהוָ֖ה
Yah·weh
– יַבִּ֑יט
yab·bîṭ;
he sees –
וּמַדּ֙וּעַ֙
ū·mad·dū·a‘
לֹ֣א
lō
not
יְרֵאתֶ֔ם
yə·rê·ṯem,
לְדַבֵּ֖ר
lə·ḏab·bêr
､ בְּעַבְדִּ֥י
bə·‘aḇ·dî
؟ בְמֹשֶֽׁה׃
ḇə·mō·šeh.

וַיִּֽחַר‪‬
way·yi·ḥar
אַ֧ף
’ap̄
the anger
יְהוָ֛ה
Yah·weh
､ בָּ֖ם
bām
. וַיֵּלַֽךְ׃
way·yê·laḵ.
and He departed .
10
וְהֶעָנָ֗ן
wə·he·‘ā·nān,
And when the cloud
סָ֚ר
sār
מֵעַ֣ל
mê·‘al
– הָאֹ֔הֶל
hā·’ō·hel,
the tabernacle –
､ וְהִנֵּ֥ה
wə·hin·nêh
and suddenly ､
מִרְיָ֖ם
mir·yām
､ מְצֹרַ֣עַת
mə·ṣō·ra·‘aṯ
. כַּשָּׁ֑לֶג
kaš·šā·leḡ;
as [white as] snow .
וַיִּ֧פֶן
way·yi·p̄en
And turned
אַהֲרֹ֛ן
’a·hă·rōn
אֶל־
’el-
､ מִרְיָ֖ם
mir·yām
Miriam ､
､ וְהִנֵּ֥ה
wə·hin·nêh
and there she was ､
. מְצֹרָֽעַת׃
mə·ṣō·rā·‘aṯ.
a leper .

וַיֹּ֥אמֶר
way·yō·mer
So said
אַהֲרֹ֖ן
’a·hă·rōn
אֶל־
’el-
to
､ מֹשֶׁ֑ה
mō·šeh;
Moses ､
､ בִּ֣י
bî
Oh ､
אֲדֹנִ֔י
’ă·ḏō·nî,
my lord
､ אַל־
’al-
not ､
､ נָ֨א
nā
please ､
תָשֵׁ֤ת
ṯā·šêṯ
do lay
עָלֵ֙ינוּ֙
‘ā·lê·nū
on us
חַטָּ֔את
ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ,
אֲשֶׁ֥ר
’ă·šer
､ נוֹאַ֖לְנוּ
nō·w·’al·nū
וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר
wa·’ă·šer
and in which
. חָטָֽאנוּ׃
ḥā·ṭā·nū.

of womb
､ אִמּ֔וֹ
’im·mōw,
of his mother ､
וַיֵּאָכֵ֖ל
way·yê·’ā·ḵêl
and is consumed
חֲצִ֥י
ḥă·ṣî
. בְשָׂרֽוֹ׃
ḇə·śā·rōw.

וַיִּצְעַ֣ק
way·yiṣ·‘aq
מֹשֶׁ֔ה
mō·šeh,
אֶל־
’el-
to
､ יְהוָ֖ה
Yah·weh
Yahweh ､
､ לֵאמֹ֑ר
lê·mōr;
saying ､
､ אֵ֕ל
’êl
God ､
､ נָ֛א
nā
please ､
רְפָ֥א

נָ֖א
nā
. לָֽהּ׃

and if her father
יָרֹ֤ק

יָרַק֙

､ בְּפָנֶ֔יהָ
bə·p̄ā·ne·hā,
in her face ､
הֲלֹ֥א
hă·lō
would not
תִכָּלֵ֖ם
ṯik·kā·lêm
שִׁבְעַ֣ת
šiḇ·‘aṯ
؟ יָמִ֑ים
yā·mîm;
days ؟
תִּסָּגֵ֞ר
tis·sā·ḡêr
שִׁבְעַ֤ת
šiḇ·‘aṯ
יָמִים֙
yā·mîm
מִח֣וּץ
mi·ḥūṣ
of
､ לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה
lam·ma·ḥă·neh,
the camp ､
וְאַחַ֖ר
wə·’a·ḥar
. תֵּאָסֵֽף׃

וַתִּסָּגֵ֥ר
wat·tis·sā·ḡêr
מִרְיָ֛ם
mir·yām
מִח֥וּץ
mi·ḥūṣ
of
לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֖ה
lam·ma·ḥă·neh
the camp
שִׁבְעַ֣ת
šiḇ·‘aṯ
､ יָמִ֑ים
yā·mîm;
days ､
וְהָעָם֙
wə·hā·‘ām
and the people
לֹ֣א
lō
not
נָסַ֔ע
nā·sa‘,
עַד־
‘aḏ-
הֵאָסֵ֖ף
hê·’ā·sêp̄
. מִרְיָֽם׃
mir·yām.

וְאַחַ֛ר
wə·’a·ḥar
נָסְע֥וּ
nā·sə·‘ū
הָעָ֖ם
hā·‘ām
the people
､ מֵחֲצֵר֑וֹת
mê·ḥă·ṣê·rō·wṯ;
וַֽיַּחֲנ֖וּ
way·ya·ḥă·nū
and camped
בְּמִדְבַּ֥ר
bə·miḏ·bar
in the Wilderness
