'Babylon the Great' in the Bible

And another, a second angel, followed, saying, Babylon the great has fallen, who made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of his indignant wrath.

and on her forehead the names inscribed, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

And he cried with a loud voice, saving, Babylon the great has fallen, has fallen, and has become a habitation of demons, and a haunt of every impure spirit, and a haunt of every impure and hateful bird,

And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall Babylon the great city be cast down, and shall be found no more.
