'By the Sword' in the Bible

They turn, but not to what is above;they are like a faulty bow.Their leaders will fall by the swordbecause of the cursing of their tongue.They will be ridiculed for this in the land of Egypt.

Samaria will bear her guiltbecause she has rebelled against her God.They will fall by the sword;their little ones will be dashed to pieces,and their pregnant women ripped open.
