'Fierce Anger' in the Bible

The Lord said to Moses, “Take all the leaders of the people and execute them in broad daylight before the Lord, so that the fierce anger of the Lord may turn away from Israel.”

Then Jonathan arose from the table in fierce anger, and did not eat food on the second day of the new moon, for he was grieved over David because his father had dishonored him.

In fierce anger He has cut offAll the strength of Israel;He has drawn back His right handFrom before the enemy.And He has burned in Jacob like a flaming fireConsuming round about.

The Lord has accomplished His wrath,He has poured out His fierce anger;And He has kindled a fire in ZionWhich has consumed its foundations.

I will not execute My fierce anger;I will not destroy Ephraim again.For I am God and not man, the Holy One in your midst,And I will not come in wrath.
