'Holy Place' in the Bible
But You are holy,O You who are enthroned in [the holy place where] the praises of Israel [are offered].
Who may ascend onto the mountain of the Lord?And who may stand in His holy place?
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,The holy dwelling places of the Most High.
The chariots of God are myriads, thousands upon thousands;The Lord is among them as He was at Sinai, in holiness.
O God, You are awesome and profoundly majestic from Your sanctuary;The God of Israel gives strength and power to His people.Blessed be God!
In the midst of Your meeting place Your enemies have roared [with their battle cry];They have set up their own emblems for signs [of victory].
And now all the carved work [of the meeting place]They smash with hatchets and hammers.
Judah became His sanctuary,And Israel His dominion.
