'Kings of the Earth' in the Bible

He saith, Yes. And when he had come into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? Of whom do the kings of the earth take customs or taxes? Of their own sons, or of strangers?

The kings of the earth came up, and the rulers assembled together, against the Lord, and against his Anointed."

and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him that loveth us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
