'Kings of the Earth' in the Bible

He said, Yes. And when he came into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth receive taxes, or a tribute? From their children, or from strangers?

the kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were assembled together against the Lord, and against his anointed.
