On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying,“To your descendants I have given this land,From the river of Egypt as far as the great river, the river Euphrates:

So he removed on that day the striped and spotted male goats and all the speckled and spotted female goats, every one with white in it, and all the black ones among the sheep, and gave them into the care of his sons.

“Those slain by the Lord on that day will be from one end of the earth to the other. They will not be lamented, gathered or buried; they will be like dung on the face of the ground.

‘It shall come about on that day,’ declares the Lord of hosts, ‘that I will break his yoke from off their neck and will tear off their bonds; and strangers will no longer make them their slaves.

“Go and speak to Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, “Behold, I am about to bring My words on this city for disaster and not for prosperity; and they will take place before you on that day.

But I will deliver you on that day,” declares the Lord, “and you will not be given into the hand of the men whom you dread.

on that day I swore to them, to bring them out from the land of Egypt into a land that I had selected for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands.

that on that day he who escapes will come to you with information for your ears?

On that day your mouth will be opened to him who escaped, and you will speak and be mute no longer. Thus you will be a sign to them, and they will know that I am the Lord.’”

On that day I will make a horn sprout for the house of Israel, and I will open your mouth in their midst. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”

On that day messengers will go forth from Me in ships to frighten secure Ethiopia; and anguish will be on them as on the day of Egypt; for behold, it comes!”

‘Thus says the Lord God, “It will come about on that day, that thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil plan,

“Therefore prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “On that day when My people Israel are living securely, will you not know it?

It will come about on that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” declares the Lord God, “that My fury will mount up in My anger.

In My zeal and in My blazing wrath I declare that on that day there will surely be a great earthquake in the land of Israel.

On that day I will give Gog a burial ground there in Israel, the valley of those who pass by east of the sea, and it will block off those who would pass by. So they will bury Gog there with all his horde, and they will call it the valley of Hamon-gog.

On that day the prince shall provide for himself and all the people of the land a bull for a sin offering.

On that day I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezreel.”

“Will I not on that day,” declares the Lord,“Destroy wise men from EdomAnd understanding from the mountain of Esau?

On that day they will take up against you a tauntAnd utter a bitter lamentation and say,‘We are completely destroyed!He exchanges the portion of my people;How He removes it from me!To the apostate He apportions our fields.’

It will be a day for building your walls.On that day will your boundary be extended.

“And I will punish on that day all who leap on the temple threshold,Who fill the house of their lord with violence and deceit.

On that day,” declares the Lord,“There will be the sound of a cry from the Fish Gate,A wail from the Second Quarter,And a loud crash from the hills.

On that day,’ declares the Lord of hosts, ‘I will take you, Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel, My servant,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will make you like a signet ring, for I have chosen you,’” declares the Lord of hosts.

So it was broken on that day, and thus the afflicted of the flock who were watching me realized that it was the word of the Lord.

Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’

On that day, when evening came, He *said to them, “Let us go over to the other side.”

the Lord grant to him to find mercy from the Lord on that day—and you know very well what services he rendered at Ephesus.
