Romans 16:17-20 - Concluding Exhortations

¹⁷ But I beseech you, brethren, to consider those who create divisions and occasions of falling, contrary to the doctrine which ye have learnt, and turn away from them. ¹⁸ For such serve not our Lord Christ, but their own belly, and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting.

¹⁹ For your obedience has reached to all. I rejoice therefore as it regards you; but I wish you to be wise as to that which is good, and simple as to evil. ²⁰ But the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

¹³ Be vigilant; stand fast in the faith; quit yourselves like men; be strong. ¹⁴ Let all things ye do be done in love.

¹⁵ But I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the first-fruits of Achaia, and they have devoted themselves to the saints for service,) ¹⁶ that ye should also be subject to such, and to every one joined in the work and labouring. ¹⁷ But I rejoice in the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus; because they have supplied what was lacking on your part. ¹⁸ For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: own therefore such.
