John 8:12-20 - Jesus, The Light Of The World

¹² Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, I am the light of the world: the one following me can not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of the life.

¹³ Then the Pharisees said to Him, Thou art testifying concerning thyself; Thy testimony is not true. And Jesus responded and said to them,

¹⁴ If I testify concerning myself, my testimony is true; for I know whence I came, and whither I go. You know not whence I come, or whither I go. ¹⁵ You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one. ¹⁶ If I judge, my judgment is true; because I am not alone, but I and the One having sent me. ¹⁷ And it has been written in our law, that the testimony of two men is true. ¹⁸ I am the one testifying concerning myself, and the Father having sent me, testifies concerning me.

¹⁹ Then they said to Him, Where is thy Father? Jesus responded; You know neither me nor my Father; if you knew me, you would also know my Father. ²⁰ He spoke these words in the treasury, teaching in the temple: and no one arrested Him; because His hour had not yet come.
