Matthew 27:1-2 - Jesus Taken To Pilate

Matthew 27:1-2

1 when the morning was come, all the chief priests and the elders of the people held a counsel against Jesus, to put him to death, 2 and brought him bound and delivered him unto Pontius Pilate, the deputy.

Mark 15:1-5

1 And anon in the dawning held the high priests a council with the elders and the scribes; And also the whole congregation, and bound Jesus and led him away, and delivered him to Pilate.

2 And Pilate asked him, "Art thou the King of the Jews?" And he answered, and said unto him, "Thou sayest it."

3 And the high priests accused him of many things. 4 Wherefore, Pilate asked him again, saying, "Answerest thou nothing? Behold how many things they lay unto thy charge." 5 Jesus yet answered never a word, so that Pilate marveled.
