1 Corinthians 16:10-18 - News About Timothy, Apollos, And Others

¹⁰ Now if Timothy comes, see that he may be with you without fear, for he works the work of God, as I also do. ¹¹ Let no one despise him. But conduct him in peace that he may come to me, for I look for him with the brothers.

¹² Concerning our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come to you with the brothers but his will was not at all to come at this time. He will come when he has a convenient time.

¹³ Be alert (be watchful) and stand fast (be vigilant) (persevere) in the faith, carry on as men (be courageous), be strong. (Ps 31:24) ¹⁴ Do everything with love.

¹⁵ I exhort you, brothers, you know the house of Stephanas, that it is the first fruits of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to the ministry of the holy ones. ¹⁶ That you submit yourselves to such, and to every one that helps with us, and labors. ¹⁷ I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus. For they have supplied what was lacking on your part. ¹⁸ For they have refreshed my spirit and yours. Therefore acknowledge them.
