John 12:37-43 - The People Still Refuse To Believe
37 But although having done so many signs before them, they did not believe in him, 38 so that the word of Isaiah the prophet that he spoke might be fulfilled: Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of Lord been revealed?
39 Because of this they could not believe. Because Isaiah said again,
40 He has blinded their eyes, and has hardened their heart, so that they would not see with their eyes, and understand with their heart, and be turned, and I would heal them.
41 Isaiah said these things when he saw his glory, and spoke about him.
42 Yet, nevertheless, even many of the rulers believed in him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess, so that they would not become excommunicated from the synagogue, 43 for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
